On January 29, 2009, POZEN Inc., a Delaware corporation (“POZEN”), issued a press release announcing that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) has informed POZEN that endoscopic gastric ulcer incidence continues to be an acceptable primary endpoint for POZEN’s clinical programs. A copy of POZEN’s press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
