On May 1, 2017, Sunesis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. issued a press release announcing the withdrawal of its European Marketing Authorization Application for vosaroxin as a treatment for relapsed/refractory acute myeloid leukemia. A copy of the press release issued concerning the foregoing is filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
