Item 8.01 Other Events.
On February 26, 2010, Torvec received the balance of the settlement dollars, namely $800,000, payable under the terms of the settlement agreement entered into between Torvec and Ice Engineering LLC. on January 27, 2010.
Previously, Torvec had received $300,000 as a result of the settlement so that the total dollars received by Torvec pursuant to the settlement agreement $1,100,000.
The parties have executed and filed a stipulation discontinuing the legal action on the merits, thus concluding the parties' lawsuit.
