On May 17, 2010, Magma Design Automation, Inc. (the “Company”) repaid all of the $23,250,000 aggregate principal amount of its outstanding 2.0% Convertible Senior Notes due May 15, 2010 (the “Existing Notes”). On May 17, 2010, the Company issued a press release announcing the repayment of the Existing Notes, a copy of which is filed as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
