Item 5.02 Departures Of Directors Or Principal Officers; Election Of Directors; Appointment Of Principal Officers.
Effective August 22, 2006, Robin Blackstone, MD resigned as a member of the Board of Directors of Viking Systems, Inc. (the “Company”). There was no disagreement between Dr. Blackstone and the Company regarding any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices. Dr. Blackstone informed the Company that other professional obligations prevented her from actively participating on the Board. Dr. Blackstone will continue to lead the Company’s clinical advisory board in bariatrics.
