Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On August 29, 2007, Janus Capital Group Inc. (the “Company”) announced that Scott W. Schoelzel, a portfolio manager for the Janus Twenty Fund, the Aspen and Adviser Forty portfolios and other accounts, has decided to resign from the Company and its subsidiaries on or about December 31, 2007.
The Company issued a press release announcing this resignation on August 29, 2007. A copy of the press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
