On October 28, 2010, First Place Financial Corp. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that a review of the allowance for loan losses of the Company’s wholly owned subsidiary, First Place Bank, is being conducted based on preliminary results of a regulatory examination by The Office of Thrift Supervision. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
