Item 8.01. Other Events.
On January 28, 2010, China Integrated Energy, Inc. (the “Company”), issued a press release announcing that it had signed a contract with an existing wholesale distribution customer that is expected to result in the delivery of 160,000 tons of petroleum during 2010, which is an increase of 62, 000 tons to this customer compared to 2009, and is expected to generate an additional $52 million in revenue from this customer in 2010 based on the current average distribution selling price per ton, which is approximately $850 per ton.
