CENTRAL FEDERAL CORPORATION DECLARES DIVIDEND

Fairlawn, Ohio — September 22, 2006 — Central Federal Corporation (NASDAQ: CFBK) announced today that the Company’s Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of 9 cents per share on its common stock to be paid on October 13, 2006 to stockholders of record on October 2, 2006.
