Item 8.01. Other Events.
On September 29, 2008, Lakes Entertainment, Inc. issued a press release announcing that a recent study found that a proposed Ohio casino would generate approximately $255 million in payments to Ohio counties, and would ultimately be responsible for adding over 8,700 jobs to the state.
A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
