On November 1, 2010, Jacksonville Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”), the bank holding company for The Jacksonville Bank, and Atlantic BancGroup, Inc. (“ATBC”), the bank holding company for Oceanside Bank, jointly announced by press release that they had received all required regulatory approvals necessary to authorize the previously announced merger of ATBC with and into the Company, and the merger of Oceanside Bank into The Jacksonville Bank, subject to usual and customary conditions. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
