Due to the nature of Country Maid Financial, Inc.'s business as a manager of hotel/motel properties, since September 11, 2001, Country Maid Financial, Inc. may have been significantly affected by the sharp decline in the travel industry. However, it is believed that the significance of the decline only affected the company for the last weeks of the quarter. The exact effect of the events of September 11, 2001 for the period September 11, 2001 through September 30, 2001, has not been completely determined. Country Maid Financial, Inc. is conducting an analysis of the financial effects of September 11, 2001 on its various properties and its corporate headquarters and is continuing to work with its accountants to finalize financial statements. Is it therefore anticipated that there will be changes in the results of operations from the corresponding period for the last fiscal year reflected by the earnings statements to be included in the subject report, the significance of which is currently being evaluated. |
