“Earlier today Peter Lynch, chairman, CEO and president of Winn-Dixie, announced that, upon completion of the transaction with BI-LO, he will transition to an advisory role for a period of time within the combined company. Randall Onstead, chairman of BI-LO, will serve as CEO and president of the combined company. Winn-Dixie and BI-LO will continue to operate as separate companies until the merger is finalized.
