Optibase Ltd. (the "Company") announces that in accordance with its audit committee and board of directors approval, the Company has prepaid the remaining amount of a loan of approximately $2.6 million granted to the Company by its controlling shareholder, the Capri Family Foundation, which is due, under its original terms, on October 1, 2020 (the "Loan"). For additional details on the Loan, see Item 5.B in the Company's annual report on Form 20-F for the year 2019 published on April 1, 2020. The audit committee and board of directors determined that the prepayment of the Loan is considered to be a "non-extraordinary transaction" within the meaning of such term in the Israeli Companies Law of 1999.
