On May 31, 2006, StanCorp Financial Group, Inc. issued a press release announcing that the Company’s chairman, president and chief executive officer, Eric E. Parsons, has adopted a trading plan pursuant to Rule 10b5-1 of the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934.
