On November 10, 2010, UIL Holdings Corporation (the Registrant) issued a press release announcing its receipt of approval from the Connecticut Department of Public Utility Control on its acquisition of Connecticut Energy Corporation, the owner of The Southern Connecticut Gas Company and CTG Resources Inc., the owner of Connecticut Natural Gas Corporation.
