1. This exercise of stock options and subsequent sale of shares was pursuant to a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan entered into by the reporting person on May 17, 2024.

2. Includes 48 shares of common stock acquired on September 4, 2024 under the United Therapeutics Corporation Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

3. This option exercise was a "sell-to-cover" transaction whereby the reporting person exercised 816 stock options, sold 558 of the resulting shares of common stock, and held the remaining 258 shares of common stock.

4. This option exercise was a "sell-to-cover" transaction whereby the reporting person exercised 850 stock options, sold 578 of the resulting shares of common stock, and held the remaining 272 shares of common stock.
