Item 8.01 Other Events.

On April 27, 2020, Lightbridge Corporation announced that it has entered into a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with the Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC, the operating contractor of the Idaho National Laboratory, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Energy. A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
