Item 8.01 Other Events.

On July 19, 2021, Lightbridge Corporation announced that it has entered into a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with the Battelle Memorial Institute, Pacific Northwest Division, the operating contractor of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Energy, to advance a critical stage in the manufacturing process of its Lightbridge Fuel™. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
