Micromem Completes Convertible Debenture and Extends Warrants
TORONTO, ONTARIO, NEW YORK, December 7, 2011 –Micromem Technologies Inc. [the “Company”] [OTC BB: MMTIF, CNSX: MRM] announces the completion of a Convertible Debenture (“Debenture”). The terms of the Debenture are US $255,000 and CDN $30,000 will bear an interest rate of 2% per month for six months, a conversion privilege, at the option of the lender, of up to the entire amount owing, inclusive of interest at a price of US $0.12.
In addition, the Company has extended the expiration date by one year of a total of 1,015,000 common share purchase warrants to acquire common shares. These warrants were originally issued with respect to private placement financings completed in 2011. The exercise price of the warrants remains unchanged.
