Item 8.01. Other Events.
On September 30, 2011, BroadSoft, Inc. (the “Company”) completed the acquisition of all of the capital stock of iLinc Communications, Inc. On October 3, 2011, the Company issued a press release announcing the consummation of the transaction.
On October 10, 2011, the Company entered into a sale and purchase agreement pursuant to which the Company will acquire Movial Applications Oy. On October 11, 2011, the Company issued a press release announcing the execution of this agreement.
