Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On July 30, 2010, the Board of Directors of Cleco Corporation (the “Company”) appointed George W. Bausewine as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Cleco Power LLC (“Cleco Power”), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, effective August 7, 2010.
Mr. Bausewine, who is 54, served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Services, for both the Company and Cleco Power since May 2005.
