Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On March 14, 2011, American Oriental Bioengineering, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the Company’s financial results for the fourth quarter of 2010 and the fiscal year ended December 31, 2010. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
Item 8.01 Other Events.
On March 21, 2011, the Company issued a press release announcing that at its 2010 earnings conference call, held on March 15, 2011, the Company provided the information that its board of directors has authorized a share buyback program for the repurchase of up to $20 million of the Company’s outstanding common stock over the next two years. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.2.
