Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On June 27, 2011, TransAtlantic Petroleum Ltd. (the “Company”) announced that its GRB-1 exploration well on the Asilah exploration permit in Morocco would likely be plugged and abandoned as non-commercial. In addition, the Company announced that it would likely seek to sell or farm-out its existing operations in Morocco and transfer certain of its drilling services equipment from Morocco to Turkey.
