Explanatory Note
Huttig Building Products, Inc., a Delaware corporation (the “Company”), is furnishing this Current Report on Form8-K/A (this “Amendment”) solely for the purpose of correcting and including certain inadvertently omitted information in the Company presentation (the “Original Investor Presentation”) furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to the Company’s Current Report on Form8-K furnished to the Securities and Exchange Commission on March 29, 2017 (the “Original Report”). This Amendment does not reflect events occurring after the filing of the Original Report, or modify or update those disclosures that may be affected by subsequent events, and no other changes are being made to any other disclosure contained in the Original Report.

On March 29, 2017, the Company furnished the Original Report, which included the Original Investor Presentation as Exhibit 99.1 to the Company’s Original Report. The following corrections to the Original Investor Presentation are reflected in the revised investor presentation furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Amendment: (i) page 2 has been added, (ii) anon-substantive modification to the first segment highlight on page 7 has been made, and information missing from the first graph on page 12 has been included. Except for the foregoing changes, the revised investor presentation attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 is identical to the Original Investor Presentation. The revised investor presentation replaces and supersedes the Original Investor Presentation.
By filing this report on Form8-K/A and furnishing the revised investor presentation, the Company makes no admission as to the materiality of any information in this report, including without limitation the revised investor presentation.
