ITEM 8.01 OTHER EVENTS.
On December 14, 2005, the Board of Directors of M&F Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”), approved a regular cash dividend of $0.05 per share for the fourth quarter of 2005. The dividend is payable January 13, 2006 to shareholders of record on January 6, 2006. A copy of the Company’s press release making this announcement is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference into this Item 8.01.
