William Lyon Homes (the “Company”) has elected to reduce the size of its Board of Directors. Accordingly, Dr. Arthur Laffer has resigned from the Board of Directors by letter received by the Company on December 17, 2007, and Wade Cable, Lawrence Higby and Richard Frankel have resigned from the Board of Directors effective December 31, 2007. The Company has no current plans to replace any of the aforementioned directors.
