On December 24, 2009, William Lyon Homes, Inc., a California corporation and subsidiary of William Lyon Homes, a Delaware corporation (the “Company”), consummated the sale of certain real property (comprising approximately 165 acres) in San Bernardino County, California; San Diego County, California; Clark County, Nevada; and Maricopa County, Arizona, for an aggregate purchase price of $13,625,000. The approximate aggregate book value of these properties on the closing date as reflected on the consolidated balance sheet of the Company and its subsidiaries was approximately $84.2 million.
