ENEL IS EXAMINING CNMV’S DECISION ON TENDER OFFER OVER ENDESA, WHILE THE NEGOTIATIONS WITH ACCIONA ARE ADVANCING POSITIVELY
Rome, 23 March 2007 —Upon request by CONSOB (the Italian public authority regulating Italian capital markets) Enel informs that it is examining and evaluating the extent of the today’s decision on tender offer over Endesa adopted by the Spanish Comision Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV), and Enel confirms that negotiations with Acciona are advancing positively, although no definitive agreement has been reached so far.
