Item 2.02 and Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure and Results of Operations and Financial Condition
On June 22, 2009, Intersil Corporation issued a press release announcing that second quarter revenue will be above the company’s previous outlook. The company now expects second quarter revenue to be between $145 million and $148 million, an estimated increase of 23 to 25 percent over the first quarter. The company’s previous revenue guidance was between $123 million and $132 million. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report pursuant to Item 2.02 and Regulation FD.
