On November 30, 2023, Markel, the insurance operations within Markel Group Inc. (the Company), announced that the Company and Robert Cox, the President and Chief Operating Officer, Insurance Operations of Markel, mutually agreed on a departure date of December 31, 2023. Mr. Cox joined the Company in 2018 to oversee its global insurance operations. Prior to joining the Company, he held executive leadership insurance positions, including extensive experience in all areas of specialty and commercial property and casualty insurance. Upon Mr. Cox’s departure, Markel’s Specialty and International insurance divisions will report directly to Jeremy Noble, the Company’s President, Insurance.
