LendingTree Approves Stock Buyback Plan
CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 3, 2003- LendingTree, Inc. (NASDAQ: TREE), the leading online lending exchange, announced today that its board of directors has authorized a share repurchase program of up to one million shares of LendingTree common stock over the next 18 months.
The share purchases may be made from time to time, depending on market conditions. The repurchase program does not obligate the company to acquire any specific number of shares and may be discontinued at any time. All purchases will be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and restrictions contained in SEC Rule 10(b)-18.
