On April 20, 2009, a press release was made announcing that Vista International, Inc., the parent company of Vista International Technologies, Inc. had concluded the acquisition of Electric Power Equipment Company, (EPECo), a manufacturer of test equipment and custom switchgears. EPECo along with Vista International Inc. affiliate Vista International Technologies, Inc. (VVIT.OB) will develop a complete mobile electric generating system that will generate electricity from waste without the use of fossil fuels.
