Item 8.01 Other Events.
On May 18, 2010, Allos Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted orphan drug designation to pralatrexate for the treatment of advanced or metastatic transitional cell carcinoma of the urinary bladder, a form of bladder cancer. The press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
