WebMed Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of UTEK Corporation (AMEX & LSE-AIM: UTK), was acquired by Pathway One Plc. in a tax-free stock-for-stock exchange. Following completion of the transaction, UTEK Corporation holds 6,000,000 ordinary shares in Pathway One Plc. The value of the consideration will be determined based on a valuation in accordance with UTEK’s valuation policy as of the closing date of the transaction.
WebMed Technologies, Inc. contains an exclusive license to the Equicare Software platform which provides the ability to communicate, and share healthcare case management information through a secure, easy-to-use application. Equicare enables authorized staff to access and contribute to centralized information from any internet enabled device in real time.
