ITEM 8.01 OTHER EVENTS
On June 16, 2010, Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services (Standard & Poor’s) raised its short-term credit ratings on WGL Holdings Inc. (WGL) and Washington Gas Light Company (Washington Gas), to A-1+ from A-1. Standard & Poor’s also affirmed the corporate credit ratings of WGL and Washington Gas at AA-(outlook: negative).
