Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure
On September 24, 2020, Berkshire Hills Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) posted a presentation on its Investor Relations website at ir.berkshirebank.com. The presentation updates the Company’s progress reducing COVID-19 related customer loan payment deferrals as regional markets have begun recovering from restrictions implemented earlier in the year. Total loans with active deferrals decreased to $525 million as of August 31, 2020, compared to $1.5 billion reported for deferrals in the second quarter. Loans with active deferrals at August 31, 2020 measured 6.1% of total loans based on midyear loan balances.
