Item 8.01 — Other Events.
On October 5, 2006, Occam Networks, Inc. (“Occam”) issued a press release that The NASDAQ Stock Market LLC has approved the Common Stock of Occam for listing and trading on the NASDAQ Global Market and the Common Stock of Occam is expected to begin trading on such market on October 9, 2006 under the symbol “OCNW.”
A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
