AllianceBernstein L.P. (“AllianceBernstein”) is furnishing two news releases issued on December 1, 2009.
In one news release (“Steyn News Release”), AllianceBernstein announced that David A. Steyn, its Chief Operating Officer, will present at the 2009 Goldman Sachs U.S. Financial Services Conference on Tuesday, December 8th at 11:35 a.m. in New York City. The Steyn News Release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.01.
In the other news release (“ECM News Release”), AllianceBernstein announced the re-launch of an equity capital markets business at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., LLC (“Bernstein”) and the hiring of Thomas M. Morrison as the head of Bernstein’s equity capital markets team. The ECM News Release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.02.
