On March 30, 2021, Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania, Inc. filed a base rate proceeding at the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, requesting approval of an increase in annual revenues of approximately $98.3 million based upon a pro forma fully projected future test year ending December 31, 2022.
On September 7, 2021, Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania and parties to the rate case filed a Joint Petition for Settlement that, if approved, will resolve all issues in the rate case. If approved by the Commission, Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania will be authorized to increase annual distribution revenues by $58.5 million through the implementation of new rates, effective December 29, 2021. Two individual complainants did not sign on to the Joint Petition for Settlement. Those complainants have until September 17, 2021 to file comments/oppositions to the proposed settlement.
