Effective August 28, 2007, Margot Lebenberg, a named executive officer, no longer served as the Executive Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of The Princeton Review, Inc. (the “Company”). In connection with her departure, the Company entered into an Agreement and General Mutual Release dated August 30, 2007 with Ms. Lebenberg that provides for the payment of $73,750 to Ms. Lebenberg and a standard release by the Company in exchange for a standard release by Ms. Lebenberg. This amount is in addition to any amounts which may be due and owing Ms. Lebenberg pursuant to her Employment Agreement, as previously disclosed.
Attached as Exhibit 99.1 is a copy of a press release of the Company dated August 29, 2007, announcing Ms. Lebenberg’s departure and the appointment of her successor, Mr. Neal Winneg.
