Dear Sir,
NOTICE is hereby given that the Twenty Fifth Annual General Meeting of Tata Communications Limited will be held at 1100 hours on Tuesday, 11 October 2011, at MC Ghia Hall, Bhogilal Hargovindas Building, Second Floor, 18/20 Kaikhushru Dubash Marg, Kalaghoda, Mumbai – 400001 to transact the business as enlisted in the Annual Report containing Notice along with the Explanatory Statement dispatched to the shareholders.
As part of green initiative of Corporate Governance by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, the aforesaid Notice along with the Balance Sheet as at 31 March 2011, Profit & Loss Account for the year ended on that on that date, Directors’ Report and Auditors’ Report there on and other document forming part of the Annual Report have been sent electronically to those Members who have registered their email addresses with their DP and made available to the Company by Depositories. The documents are also available on the Company’s website:http://www.tatacommunications.com/investors/performance.asp and available for inspection at the registered Office of the Company during the office hours.
Pursuant to section 154 of the Companies Act 1956 and clause 16 of the listing agreement, please be informed that the Register of Transfers and Register of Members of the Company shall remain closed from 1 October 2011 to 11 October 2011 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of ascertaining eligibility to dividend. Dividend on Equity Shares as recommended by the Directors for the year ended 31st March, 2011, when declared by the members at the Annual General Meeting, will be paid
(i) | to those shareholders whose names appear on the Company’s Register of Members after giving effect to all valid share transfers in physical form lodged with the Registrar & Transfer Agents (R&T Agents) of the Company on or before Friday, 30 September 2011. |
