Item 8.01 Other Events.
On April 12, 2007, American Physicians Capital, Inc. announced in a press release that the Company has completed the $6.4 million rollover amount that was originally allocated to the 2006 stock repurchase plan under Rule 10b5-1 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and commenced its 2007 stock repurchased authorization totaling $32 million under its Rule 10b5-1 plan approved by its Board of directors in October 2006. The related press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein as referenced.
