Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On September 23, 2014, Ixia (the “Company”) issued a press release in which the Company announced that its Board of Directors had appointed Brent Novak as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer effective September 23, 2014. Prior to Mr. Novak’s appointment, he had most recently served as the Company’s Acting Chief Financial Officer since March 3, 2014 and as its Vice President, Finance since August 2006. A copy of the Company’s press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report onForm 8-K.
