On November 15, 2007, Waste Industries USA, Inc. issued a press release announcing that the Board of Directors approved a 25% increase in the Company’s quarterly cash dividend which will increase to $0.15 per share, payable on December 15, 2007 to shareholders of record at the close of business on November 30, 2007. The dividend increases the annual dividend to $0.60 per share of common stock. A copy of the press release is attached as an exhibit.
