ANNOUNCES STOCK REPURCHASE PROGRAM
CLOVIS, CALIFORNIA…April 19, 2007… The Board of Directors of Central Valley Community Bancorp (Company) (NASDAQ: CVCY), the parent company of Central Valley Community Bank (Bank), approved the adoption of a program to effect repurchases of the Company’s common stock. The Company may repurchase up to approximately $2,000,000 of the Company’s outstanding shares of common stock under the program for a period beginning April 18, 2007 and ending October 18, 2007. The shares will be repurchased in open-market transactions through brokers, subject to availability.
“The Board of Directors believes that based upon past experience a stock repurchase program will continue to be an effective use of excess capital and should create additional shareholder value,” stated Daniel J. Doyle, President and Chief Executive Officer of Central Valley Community Bancorp and Central Valley Community Bank.
