Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers
Today, the Company announced that effective November 1, Carl L. Chapman will be promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer of Vectren Corporation (the Company). The position was previously held by Niel C. Ellerbrook, who remains the Company’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
The press release announcing Mr. Chapman’s promotion and that contains certain information required by Item 401(b) and (e) of Regulation S-K is attached as exhibit 99.1. Mr. Chapman has no relationships required to be disclosed under Item 401(d) or Item 404(a) of Regulation S-K.
