To Foster Wheeler Employees:
The topic for this week’s update letter is to encourage you to help define the culture of the combined AMEC and Foster Wheeler.
Specifically, we would like to know how you would you describe Foster Wheeler in 20 words orless. I encourage you to take part in this exercise by visiting the common intranet site (www.amecandfosterwheeler.com) and answering this question. Your responses will be used as input for an extensive effort to define and describe the new culture of the combined company.
As part of this broad-based effort, the integration steering committee commissioned an employee survey that, within the past three weeks, went to more than 1,000 employees across both companies.
The survey focused on the current perception of each company's unique identity, values, decision-making styles and organizational health. The response rate was over 70%, which is very encouraging, as it shows the high level of interest that Foster Wheeler employees have in shaping the new company. I thank all who participated in this effort. The results are now being processed and incorporated in the definition and implementation of the combined company’s values and behaviors.
The objective is to determine the culture and values before 'day 1' of the new company, so we can communicate this information internally and externally on that day – and thereafter.
Again, especially for those of you who may not have had the opportunity to participate in the survey, I encourage you to visit the common site and answer the question posed above. This is an exciting time for both AMEC and Foster Wheeler, and we welcome your contribution to the work that’s being done.
Thank you in advance for your continued engagement.
Sincerely,
Kent Masters
Chief Executive Officer

Other factors and assumptions not identified above were also involved in the formation of these forward-looking statements and the failure of such other assumptions to be realized, as well as other factors, may also cause actual results to differ materially from those projected.
