Item 8.01. Other Events
Effective September 5, 2013, Zion Oil & Gas, Inc. (the “Company”) was issued a Certificate of Filing for the assumed name of “ZION DRILLING” by the Texas Secretary of State. The Company is establishing Zion Drilling as the division responsible for all oil and gas drilling rig and equipment operations in Israel. The Company has the trademark “ZION DRILLING” filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Also, the Company has the trademark filed with the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, pursuant to the Madrid Agreement and Protocol, and with the Israel Trademark Office.
