On July 19, 2005, Instinet Group Incorporated ("Instinet Group") announced that its Chief Technology Officer, Andrew Banhidi, will be leaving the company. Instinet Group also announced that it appointed Michael Bundy as Instinet Group's new Chief Technology Officer. The press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
